TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: FX, stock indices, metals, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For something this new, that range is not narrow.
The Software
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. More responsive charts. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders find it more natural after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is said to be in the works. That should make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
This is the area where Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix data centres. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform operate at 100ms to 300ms.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That says what kind of broker this is.
Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms at this price point run Equinix connectivity.
Safety
This is the detail that requires honesty. TabTrade is under the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a dealbreaker, stop reading. There are FCA-regulated options out there.
However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement costs real money. Scam brokers do not invest in Equinix connectivity. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your decision.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense comes down to your priorities.
The Bonus
TabTrade has a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Typical sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker credit extra capital. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Read the conditions before funding.
